The vision is decent, since the path and trees are all clear, yet the trees on the right and the sky are a bit vague.
It's not that original either, since there are quite some deviations that focus on a path going straight into a forest.
The technique however, is quite well, since it's quite parallel.
Overall, I don't think this deviation could be a lot better, but it's quite nice. It gives a kinda fantasy like feeling to it, and the light and darkness is also quite balanced. It also makes you wonder what is it at the end.
